e-AWB Workshop

On the 20th June, a one day workshop will focus on hot topics impacting practitioners when implementing e-AWB. Targeting at e-AWB project managers and their team, the workshop will investigate key aspects of an e-AWB implementation:

  • Regulations: How did some practitioners manage to create a regulatory framework that enables e-AWB adoption?
  • Technology: Cargo-IMP vs. XML; How to improve data quality?
  • Processes: Why do some airlines offer the printing of paper AWB on behalf of the freight forwarder and how does this work in practice? What is the impact of e-aWB on the way to work with ground handlers?
  • Legal: How to leverage the multilateral e-AWB agreement to maximize its benefits for the industry?
  • Rolling out e-AWB: Key learnings from recent successful e-AWB roll out. What are the different strategies to effectively on board a large number of business partners?

Experienced industry practitioners will share their experience with the workshop participants. Conceived as an interactive session, the workshop is the ideal opportunity for e-AWB project managers to exchange on their challenges and learn from each other.
